If by "Nasty" you mean "Cheap and Unreliable" then I'd say you're right!!

It would be the Dumpster Mutt for me though. But my RD4 and RAT5 are both right there man. Tough call. They're all 3 just the right size - the DM is the toughest, the RD4 is a good slicer and stout, and the RAT5 is a slicing machine. I'd still say the DM is in 1st place though - but its a tough call.

Closed it is 5 1/4 inches
Open it is 9 1/2 inches
The blade is 4 1/4 inches of CM 154
It is made by TiNives a premium blade company that went BK back in 2002 I believe. The design was by Larry Chew it has 88 ceramic ball bearings inside its opening mechanism that are self smoothing if you would. The more you open it the easier it is to open and the smoother it gets.
I play with mine while watching TV at night and it flicks open as fast as my Dalton Combat switchblade. It it rock solid in lock up and when the button is depressed it releases it and with a gentle flick of the wrist it slams shut.
Basically it opens and closes with the sound, speed, and ease of a butterfly knife. It has a unreal feel in the hand. And I can't seem to stop playing with it. I EDC it maybe 4 times a month but I play with it every single day. This would be my favorite blade.
These were made to compete with Chris Reeve and William Henry knives its retail list back in the day was $425.00 I bought mine NIB off E-Bay about 2 years ago for $125.00 and it was and is worth every penny of that investment. I guess you would have to hold it,flick it and feel what it does to really appreciate it. It truly is a stunning blade. The "feel" is what still gets me. Great knife!

Peace.

battle mistress. i grabbed it to fondle on my way to the computer to check the forum. when i put it down to reply it accidentally hit the caps lock key and i typed it in caps. i'm guessing that was providence so i'll put it back. BATTLE MISTRESS.

if not for that baby, though, vic pioneer. i love that thing. everyone should have one. that means y'all better go get one if you haven't. my benchmark for plain old folding knives, non-sak, is the delica.

though not my favorite, my best carry knife is the OHT. it always proves to be the knife i'm glad i had on me when i have it and the knife i wish i had on me when i don't. it ranks pretty high. i just wish it had a pocket clip.

ok ok..
just sitting here by my PC..
my favorite "feeling" knife is SwampRat HRLM.

I love to flip it around. Its balance, size, & micarta handle are great for reverse grip changes, and slashing smaller zombies in my office.

But when i'm feeling manly like after a good workout.. i grab Dog Father!
It feels Good! Its hefty forward weight.. nice grippy Res-C handle.. Hack & slash Chopping Goodness for cleaving any zombie!
(since i don't have an FBM.. yet..)

There is just no way I could narrow it to one knife. Even if they were all laid out in front of me. If I had to grab just one knife someone would have to cut off my other arm to keep me from grabbing more and more and more...I just can't do it.
