Actually I am getting this carbine hoping that Patty will agree to use it as a house gun. She said she isn't comfortable using a handgun so maybe this will appeal to her. If Not, oh well I'll just have to keep on looking.

IF I remember correctly, they just got to powerful and was even loaning money to the French Government. They were in effect Europe's bankers and the French king was heavily in depth to them

My wife's one cousin is about 5'6" and weighs about 90lbs with boots on
I taught her to shoot with my marlin 44mag
First gun she ever shot

I think so. Weight is 5.76 pounds. OAL is between 29.7 and 31.5 inches, depending on how many "Spacers" you have between the butt stock and the rubber butt plate.

That's what I thought.  My wife doesn't mind shooting my 9mm's, but doesn't care for my .44 mag.
