By the way, I think the extra green/mag green linen calls your name at night. I hear this sound that is barely perceptable like "Maaaaagnuuuuuuuum" softly calling from my study when it's quiet at night. It's kind of spooky. I think it knows where it's true home really is.

KS - thanks - nice collection! How long have you been collecting those? As I recall... back around the DF release you posted a picture of your CGFBM in the DF sheath... I thought that was your only Mistress at the time - I remember asking if you'd sell it - but i could just be losing my mind. Anyways, great set of SHBM's you've got there!

I've been collecting Busse knives for several years. I have posted other pics in previous posts. It's been awhile since I've picked up a SHBM but I love the FBM's as well and continue to be tempted at any new release. This includes the soon to be released offer from the BCS. I'm a sucker for the big blades.
That pic of the FBM and dogfather sheath was my favorite FBM!

I see. Are you talking about that fat FBM? I've got one CG, thats all that I can (barely) justify for now!!

That's it,- the fat one that Skunk has been teasing everyone with on BF. That's the one I'm hoping for.

My favourite knife depends on size; folder- Gerber Evo 650 (carbide wire cutter) a great all-rounder, small- toss up between my SS4 and CRKT Kasper (fixed blade), medium- S6 today I'll see what happens when the Badger arrives!, large- it was the Tram' Bolo machete but is now the DF.

My DF sharpened up well, very quickly today from it's wouldn't actually cut factory edge. I put the Lansky clamp on and used the medium stone at 30' and within a (very) few minutes it's now pretty much hair popping. I'd dreaded a re-profile but it doesn't seem to need it.. (phew!)

The fat FBM looks great but would be far to heavy for me to carry over other knife choices..

Don't get me wrong, even though the SHBM IS my favorite knife does not mean it's the most used. I do use it in the field anytime I'm in the field. I also use my DF and DM extensively and my folding Mini Rukus. I also use an $8 Mora frequently. I love and use many knives. But my favorite is the user SHBM.
