I was only supposedd to go fishing today. Decided to take a couple rods back to the store and walked out with a M&P 9mm. The CORE version that's made to accept red dots! Was marked down $200 and was $100+ less after taxes than if I got one of line. And to make it sweeter S&W has a rebate for 3 free magazines! I have been wanting a M&P 9mm to replace the .40 I sold off a few years back. I actually wanted the CORE version but for they tacked on an extra $200 more than I was willing to pay. I had a girft card with almost $300 on it I needed to get rid of so the whole thing worked out perfect. Heck, I even just put in the overtime last week to cover the rest of the price .

Good deal lazi! I got my Beretta storm today. Cost me $268.00 counting the tax! Oh and a pistol I bought in 1997 that cost me $265.00! (plus a 150.00 trade in) I think I came out OK. I thought I paid more for the gun I traded in, but I found the receipt!

Is it true that the barrel and action have to be lubed with pasta sauce before you use it?

Pasta or marinara, either one will work. Oh and Olive oil is actually the preferred lube. No red residue and it runs like it was operating on ball bearings!

It came in on Wednesday but Kris lost my phone number. Thursday we took the Grand Daughter to see HOME and got back late so I just picked it up Friday. Haven't really looked at it yet, that will come tonight at work.

OK, things have slowed down and I have been looking at my new toy. (I've also ordered a couple things, a side rail and stock spacers). I also found out why they included a magazine loading tool.
Now to get started choosing the rest of the goodies I'm gonna need.
