I own a few Ecodrive watches they have all been flawless and I am more than happy with them for EDC.

I just can't bring myself to spend a whole lot on a watch. I am fairly practical. Quality and durability trump the cool factor for me.
If I can find Quality, durability and cool factor that's a bonus.
That was around my threshold for comfort(money wise) on a watch. I wouldn't have spent it if my wife didn't force me to buy my own birthday gifts.
