I'd actually heard of this some time back and have read several articles about it. PERSONALLY from what I've read I'm not sure it's all that viable for actual roadways. Now sidewalks, playground "Tracks" and the same in parks, it might work out pretty good. It might work out well for bicycle trails as well.

Hola. Randy, have you considered the Vortex SPARC II? I just picked one up on eBay for pretty dang cheap. 2 MOA dot and a lifetime no-questions asked warranty. Less than half the cost of the Spitfire.

DT, that was my first choice, but I am leaning toward the spitfire because it can be used in available light without powering up the circuit.

Just got my new Streamlight TLR-1 HL today. Just put the batteries in it and now to decide if I am gonna mount it on the side or the slide out rail.
