I keep hoping we will hear something soon or at blade since its in 2 weeks. I remember the Wardog was released right before the Blade show a few years ago, so hopefully something will happen soon.

Well, I don't know about that. Since Dan's announcement of a new knife, Jerry has announced 5 Ganzaas, 3 new Busse Combat knives and two new Swamp Rats. And the Blade Show isn't even here yet.

Since I've been around, the ratio of new released Busse knives to new Scrapyard knives has always been much higher. Busse and Scrapyard knives are made in the exact same factory, just different handles and different steel. Busse is a business and if they can make a $500.00 knife or $110.00 I'm sure they will make more of the $500.00 knives since there is much more of a profit for them to make.

We're being phased out, Max. I considered the same conclusion. There would be a higher margin on SR101 labeled "Busse".

And, this it's making it very hard to hold off buying something else to see what Dan has coming from the Yard!!
