Well, I wish I'd waited longer to get an 1/8" Mutt but man I love this thing. I got rid of my 411 because I just could not get over that huge square choil but I've thought since then that a choilless 411 would be a dream knife. The Mutts fit the bill very well. I reprofiled this one to 20 degrees per side on my KME and .. wow. It took forever because the coarsest stone I have for it is the 300 grit but it was so worth it. The SR101 just takes a sick edge. Ran it up to the finest grit the basic KME set comes with then stropped on orange DMT compound then black, green, and white BRKT compounds. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](http://i.imgur.com/uc7Ra0tl.jpg) I'll keep my eye out for a thinner Mutt and keep hoping for a choilless 411 but until then, yeah! I'm also going to order some coarser KME stones because reprofiling SR101 with a 300 grit stone takes for-freaking-ever!

Dangit, a couple days ago I missed a Mud Mutt on the BF exchange by an hour!!! $149 with Kydex, that would've been a good score.
Haven't had a chance to put the Safety Mutt to any real use yet but I did get the 100 and 140 grit stones in for less painful reprofiling. They tear through 1095 pretty nice, I may need to see how the KME does on an 1111...
