PIPPO, just divide the inch measurements by 2.54 and you will get a VERY accurate indication of the CM length and width of the blade from edge to spine. I have been using this for over 20 years and works real well for me.

I agree with you , but I have a doubt, on the photo. The measure is the same as the 711, but in the picture it seems wider.

Ah, now I understand. It could be nothing more than the angle that the picture was taken at. This has happened before. I would go with the specs that Dan listed. Let me check something and I will get right back to you.

Well I saw a couple places where the ASH1 (Busse) was listed as 2 inches wide (about 5cm). Others it was listed at 1.75 (4.4cm).
Again, it is probably the angle the photo was taken at.

Personally I would go with 1.75, but you could always email the Shop and ask for clarification.

It's like Jerry's BGASH1 but with a Res-c handle and 1095 steel.

Is it the awesome blade we were all waiting for? I would still like to see a traditional-shaped Bowie blade. Busse was close with the Battle Pappy and Swamp Rat had the M-9. I have both of those models.
