I was curious about Dans take on the 1095, but have total faith in the SR101!! I wonder how many people are going to add some extra steel to their order...besides me? MM

Evil Spock, I would expect the 711 to be a better chopper due to the blade profile. Meaning there is more "Meat" out toward the front of the blade thereby giving it the ability to Hit Harder. The TRASH1 Blade profile would seem to lend itself more to the "Bushcraft" aspect, carving, skinning and associated woodworking. I know it is large for a "Bushcraft" blade for traditional thinkers, but still I think it will be a GREAT all around blade.
