Jerry just posted that there won't be any more 1095 offerings. I thought about posting a link but it is actually a for sale thread. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.

Pretty much. Jerry said Dan had been planning on using it all but that was no longer the case.

And here I was starting to think that Dan had become some kind of black magic soothsayer turning 1095 lead into SR-101 silver! (Gotta reserve the gold moniker for INFI). To me, SY=SR-101, period. Ultimate pound-for-pound price-to-performance. I like this announcement

If Busse would have approved the 1095 after their testing then I would not have worried. I'm glad the 1095 did NOT meet their test requirements, as I prefer the ST-101 steel. Thank you Busse for the straight scoop on the steel and testing!

I'm happily welcoming the news of the steel change.
I'd be happy with 1095, but will be much more happy with SR-101.
There always will be some malcontents on BF though...

I agree. I would have been fine with 1095 if it passed the Busse tests, but I really do like SR-101!
