The General and I will be laying back in our truck watching the eclipse, complete with cushions and padding. Some hot chocolate in a thermos too! You really know how to "rough it", Tom.

Made it back home safe and sound. Got the baked beans in the oven. Oh didn't I tell Y'all we're having a fish fry after church. Should be ready around oneish. You're more than welcome to come over.
Patty fixed baked beans and tater salad.

Got plenty of knives. Just can't take them to the range. Really?

Maybe I'll watch it on the TV. Whilst sitting in my recliner and sipping some sweet tea!

I figure than we can snuggle up in the back of the truck, watch the eclipse, and listen to the coyotes.

Well, there won't be a Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse for for us. FULL cloud coverage!

We have a very clear night. Looked like a fairly normal lunar eclipse though. Still cool.

I picked up a double so I could not come in tomorrow but I would have missed the blood moon anyways with my first shift.

Apparently I was incorrect. The clouds kept rolling to the Northeast and we got to see it, but not the Full scene. We got back outside about 20 after 10. At 10pm there wasn't even a glow in the sky, no stars, just solid cloud cover. The neighbor lady called and said it was out. When we got out from under the tree blocking our view you could begin to see the slightest sliver of white coming on. Still it was impressive. I think Patty said this won't repeat for another 30 years, so this is the last time Patty and I will be able to see it I am sure. I don't figure I'll be reaching my 90's.
