Hey guys!
Since the two weeks took way to long and I couldn´t see the chop house comming, I ordered some steel from the swamp.
As I don´t own a Tomahawk yet I just had to get one...
So Rattle Hawk or Sboper Hawk was the question.
As one of you already pointed out, the Rattle Hawk would be great in a Zombie outbreak but the danger of hurting yourself with all those edges is way to high. But I just love the style...
I figured I just want to have a traditional edge on the axe head.
So I wrote the customer service and surprise surprise the will just do it that way!

GREAT JOB! Yeah I was wondering about all the sharpened areas as well. I can see the Spike really working for you as a Firefighter.

It reads like you might want only the red sharpened and nothing behind it to include the spike? Or do you want the spike sharpened too? It's a good idea I pondered myself and part of why I sold my rattlehawk before someone in the family hurt themselves. Nope if it´s clear that I want the spike unsharpend it´s perfect!
I just like the axe head shape of the RH soooo much more...

Should be good then.  I think with just the front face sharpened I would prefer the RH too, a guy could always sharpen the rest later, but I couldn't bring myself to grind out the sharpened edges of mine so I sold it.

Like he said. I figured you just wanted the spike pointed but NOT really sharpened and just the front fact sharpened, NOT the top.

Thats exactly how my rattle Hawk was built. I didn't want the top edge sharp so I could use it to pry.
I really like the setup.
