I'm super excited to get mine, I'm a general contractor and can see using that beast to chop some unruly 2x4s or pry a house off its foundation. Whatever the days stress requires.
There was a car,a bear, and some cookies; then someone died...
If a chicken and a half layed an egg and a half then how long does it take a monkey to kick the seeds out of a dill pickle?

Of course I missed out. That's what I get for not checking in more often. I would imagine you'll be able to pick one up on the secondary market. Even if there's some markup you could probably still pick one up pretty reasonably. I've got my BG ASH in but haven't used it yet, waiting to run it side by side with the TRASH

I hope I will be able to pick one up on the secondary market but my luck with that usually isn't very good. I'm willing to pay a little mark up but people usually go overboard on the mark up.

It never hurts to try and haggle over the price; the worst they can do is say "no".

You know, after looking at the pictures closely I realized that the top (spine side) is kinda sorta one continuous curve from butt to tip. Also the handle has a slight downward angle from the "Choil" to the butt of the knife not straight like the ASH. This might well lend itself more toward the chopping/bushcraft usage than as a "Fighter". I know it was designed as an all rounder, but it will work in a pinch for just about anything. Just a couple things I noticed after looking at the comparison pictures. Here is the Post I am talking about over at Jerry's forum. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1343914-ASH-and-TRASH

Been tempting seeing a few pop up on the exchange!
