... involved in the helo crash and their families. Two CH-53E helicopters crashed just off the north shore of the island of Oahu, each carrying 6 souls on board. The search for survivors continues.
That type of aircraft is the newest variation of the helicopter I used to crew, and those are my old stompin' grounds. Kinda hits close to home.

I just heard about that. It's bad, for some reason (probably cause I spent 20 years in the service) seems even worse that if a civilian accident.
