Doing good; the General is upstairs working on reapolstering a chair, and I'm about to go downstairs and work on a sheath for my latest Gingrich knife.

Ha! I pre-ordered an ASH-2 at the Blade show, and I was notified that my card was charged the other day...finally!

With all the financial "expert gurus" predicting a financial collapse, I think Jerry is really playing it "close to the vest". Making knives to order and keeping a low inventory. Just a guess.

That makes sense, BUT if he (they) have orders you would think that the knives would be made and payments taken. Oh well. It will come when it comes.

Something we ALL have to remember is that Busse is a small company compared to several other knife companies. Plus, their heat-treatment protocol takes more time than most and only so many blades can be treated at a time. You can't just stack up layers of blades in the ovens and expect them to be treated correctly.

True, and I wonder how many (If any) military or other contracts he has to deal with as well.

Only Jerry knows. That's OK with me, as I have several knives ordered from Busse, and just received that Gingrich Bowie.
