I don't have to worry about the driver forgetting to stop; he's a great guy who knows how I love my Bussekin knives! I always open the package and let him hold the knife so that he understands and appreciates my excitement.

The General and I are doing great; spent time today doing a little shopping in Joplin. Man, did it wear me out!  We haven't heard from my son, so "no news is good news". I plan on calling him this weekend anyway. How are you East- side kids doing?

Patty is still down with this crud. BUT the medicine the Dr give her is helping with the cough. But she is still pretty weak. Other than that we're doing OK. Got back on the Tread mill Thursday and could only do a half mile. BUT I will build back up. I want to get back up to three miles in an hour at about a 6 percent incline at least.

So far in the last month I have gone from 268 down to 257.4 pounds. I am sure part of it is because of the shot the doctor has me on now as well as my regular diabetes meds.
