Cherokee tomorrow! YUP got there. What an adventure! After we got Patty to the top yesterday, that's all it took. BUT we started out at 54 degrees In Pigeon Forge. As we went up the mountain it started to rain. Higher up it started coming snow pellets. THEN it dropped down to 32 degrees and started snowing so Hart we almost stopped! BUT being intrepid explorers we pressed on. On the other side it finally started turning into rain agAin and then finally stopped and we has a dry sunny day in Cherokee. BUT in the way back it was more of the same, just not as much snow. TOMORROW, Cades cove!

I HAVE used some items from my Malaga. The "Girls" aren't giving me as much guff now. I carried the Malaga about a mile to a mile and a half the other day. I was VERY impressd and surprised at how comfortable and easy it was to carry! Have it loaded to about 12 pounds and it carried very well and never developed any sore spots. SO FAR I am very happy with it. I will actually weigh It when we get back home.
