IF you use it, it won't rust. Not being a turd here, but honest. I have my beloved Negrito Hunting Bolo that I have talked about many times. IF it ever started rusting (when it was relatively new) and started rusting I would just jab it into the ground a half dozen times or so all the way to the hilt, wipe it on a cloth and sheath it. It finally got where it is VERY rust resistant. It is nothing more than a knife made from a vehicle spring and sharpened. NO extra heat treat of any kind. Just shaped, sharpened and ya got a knife.

The pumpkin G10 is AWESOME! I have that on my BWM with the black blade. PURDY. You're young go for the Gusto. You only live once (unless your name is Lazarus).

The comp finish with either a maroon or black canvas handle sounds pretty sweet.

I bet that maroon would really show up nice with the comp finish like Tom said. Or even the blade/handle configuration they show in the picture, whatever it is.

Still torn on green blade or comp. I know my coated SR101 knives haven’t show any rust on the sharped exposed edges.

I ordered a comp finish with a maroon handle. I think that's a good looking combo, though the black/black combo in the picture looked pretty sweet as well.

I ended up going comp with pumpkin. I regret selling my pumpkin knives and the only comp finish I have is an INFI mandu
