I understand the lure of revolvers. There is something "sexy" about them, but I always lose interest after taking them to the range.

I wouldn't buy a safe with an electronic lock. I don't care what the manufacturer says ... the locks installed on consumer grade "residential storage containers" (gun safes rated lower than burglary proof) do NOT have EMP proof locks.

EMP = either your safe is locked down forever .... or until you hire someone to drill it.

Pick a safe with a S&G mechanical (minimum would be a 6730).

ETA: Electronic locks also fail while mechanical locks rarely fail. Check the lock warranties for electronic vs mechanical. Many mechanical are lifetime.

RN,

I just went through this ordeal (actually still unresolved at this time, but in the final stage... I hope).

If you go GP100, get a 6-shot.

If you have to have a 7-shot, find a pre-lock Smith.

I know several people that the electronic locks died and they had to call a locksmith out to repair. Not cheap. Doing dial on my big safe and electronic on my rapid access home defense safes. With one for rifle and one for pistol the chance of them both failing in a time of need is low.

Productive day. We ran 400rds of 22lr through her new pistol and loves it. And I got my new skeletonized Titanium BCG in my ultra light 3 gun rifle tuned. Fells like I’m shooting a .22 now.

I have exclusively used Bianchi Triple threat (old style basketweave leather open top) mag pouches for over 15 years and love them. They use one way snaps and stay closed until YOU want them to come off.

Well shucks. Didn't say, beyond them being "old style leather" that I don't think I like the accumold ones. I think they are like that safariland laminate crap that I HATE! Nothing wrong with it, but I just don't like it. All the deputies used that as their holsters and it works nice but I just don't like the extra stiffness it provides over the supple leather. Yeah I know I'm old, but such is life.

Got it and just what I was looking for Randy- thank you. Fits the Glock mags perfectly and the P10c mags pretty well.
