Saw Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson last week in Charleston South Carolina. Tyler is really country and Sturgill is more rock oriented

An hour or two is pretty standard to go watch a show

That HAD to be bad. And to happen so close to what should be a happy occasion. If I didn't say so before, you and your whole family have my condolences.

Boy Y'all lost me. Heck Patty and I haven't even turned on our TV for about 2 weeks. And I've never been to a concert.

Thanks
My youngest brother found him in bed, called me in.
I stayed with him while Dan went to tell my parents.
He couldn't stay there alone with him so I did.
We wouldn't let my parents come over and we stayed with him for 5 or 6 hours

Patty and I were with her Dad when he passed. It was hard, but he went easy. My Dad, Patty and I had just stepped out to stretch our legs (we had been in his hospital room for 2 days) and were just on our way back up to his room when they called. He was sleeping and never woke up.

The day before he passed he had Patty and I to get on each side of his bed and hold his hands. He raised our all our hands in the air and Blessed Patty and I. I cried. He said it was customary for a father to bless his oldest son (I am an only child) and he said he wanted to do it for us and him as well. I think he felt blessed that he could do this for us.
