It was nice. OK, Soap Opera time.
The step son and his wife divorced about a year and a half ago. He got married again about 4 months ago. Just filed for divorce (this wife is a REAL wacko, seriously) I've explained earlier about the reason for the marriage.
We got a call today from the EX D.I.L. Come over for Easter dinner she said. OK we said.
Got there and the Step son was in for the Holiday. Well you see, he sold his house about a week and a half ago. He NOW lives in his Ex-Wife's basement! It is actually helping both of them out as he helps her with the expenses and he is getting cheaper "rent". Plus the G'kids LOVE IT! PLUS he and his Ex get along better now than they did when they were married.
I guess stranger things have happened, but I'm not sure they've been stranger for us. BUT things are working out for everyone's benefit so it's all good, specially for the kids.
It was an enjoyable day.
