Oh and back of course. Sheesh, sometimes you got to be specific for SOME people.

530 miles and back, from S/W Missouri to Joliet Illinois. When I went to Alaska in 1990 I took an A.G. Russel; didn't own any Bussekin blades back then.

I have carried a Butterfly knife through Tokoyo and Honolulu airports 8 times IN MY POCKET. Does that count? Of course this was in the LATE 80's. Only got "questioned" once. Japanese Customs indicated he wanted me to "Play" with it. I did a couple flips and he was all smiles and gave it back to me and on the plane I went. Of course being in the Air Force at the time might have helped.
IF I would have had one I think that I would have carried a Scrapivore or a Swamp Warden. Those are two nice little blades but I find myself leaning towards the paracord wrapped warden the most. Now IF my Cupidvore was a left hand model that is the one I would carry in my pocket. The right handed ones will bite into your hand if you are a righty. Should have gotten the lefty versions. Oh well, live and learn.

I always take a BKK with me. I keep a Scrapivore and Regulator in My truck and I usually carry an HRLM on my Belt in the backcountry. And a War Dog or RMD is always in one of my packs. So the farthest is roughly 1,000 miles. Colorado To Glacier National park Montana into Canada.

Since the original post was about travelling with a Busse knife I didn't mention the Case Bowie I brought home from VietNam.

Now THAT would be a special knife Tom. Not to mention that case is one of the all time classic bowie blades. Now if Dan would just make one with the same specs, but with a large basic, or maybe even a Dreg handle.

I would think that around a 10K one way trip wins you the prize Tom, even if it wasn't a Bussekin blade. I mean they weren't even in business then, so how could you carry one. I think that the Bullreg would be a nice blade for something like that.
