Which would you choose and why? TG looks like it OUGHT to be a better chopper--it's longer and thicker... But the HR looks like it has a better geometry for that.
Both also look like good fighting knives, not that I plan to start an illegal monkey knife fighting ring in my basement or anything...
Or maybe I should just save my $400 and buy a nice handgun or rifle...

Knives are close range, silent, and can function in a variety of angles quite easily and rapidly. Guns are longer range and are usually not as easy to change directions.

Well the HR is longer and thicker than the TG. BUT the TG seems to look like more of a "do anything" type blade. Depends on what you like the looks of most I would say.

Or maybe I should just save my $400 and buy a nice handgun or rifle... Good luck on this decision They all feel good in the hand and their looks attract you regardless of decision...including the handgun. Not much help on my part but good thoughts for your effort LOL Dan

I agree, BUT as far as weapons, they are a last ditch, end of the line, NO other options, you've thrown your empty gun at them already, both legs broken so you can't run resort. In other words, EMERGENCY use only, REAL emergency, not something that might just be risky. So speaketh the Skunk.

I would prefer to engage an enemy with a scoped .50 at 5,000 meters. With an A-10 providing overwatch.

Heck, I can't even see 5000m, but the Warthog I LIKE! They are one neat, MEAN airframe (that's what us Air Force types call an airplane).

If you ever watched "Flight of the Intrepid", you KNOW the value of a good blade. I'd say the Hell Razor OR the Team Gemini would work just fine.
