Wow I am getting close to JYD, and no all night post fests just regular posting.

I will try again on the yahoo site the Busse kin idea is to good to not get in on.
Plus am partly responsible for the name as it was my question "what do we call all the Busse companies ?" anyhow that Dan answerd with Busse kin.
It did not seem to catch on except with Andy and myself so I am glad to see it getting some use. I always liked the term Busse kin.

Could we put a melonhead on the head in my avatars hand?

I was originally going to put “Busse / Swamp Rat / Scrap Yard Buy, Sell, Trade” but that was too long. So I remembered Dan saying we should call the family of knives “Busse Kin”, so that’s what I choose. Then I had to think of a shorter way to say buy, sell, trade. First I was just going to say trade, but I thought that might be confusing to people thinking it was for trades only. Then I thought exchange would be a better word. Also, the word exchange isn’t only limited to exchanging items. It can also be used to mean exchange words or ideas, which I also thought was appropriate since we can talk too if we like.

Well, I tried to make a post at BF in the Busse forum to spread the word some more about the new Yahoo Group, but Mike emailed me and told me he was going to edit my post because it would interfere with Spark’s income. Sooo, if you know any other Busse owners that might like to join us, you might want to send them a message inviting them. At least the exposure got us 5 more members before the post was yanked. Our numbers are growing… <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Hi, just joined the ranks on this forum and submitted my "application" for the Yahoo exchange group. Unfortunately, I discovered the Busse family knives a few days ago after I had just dropped about $300 on a CS for my upcoming deployment. Ah well, live and learn. Nice to meet y'all.

Welcome aboard brother, thanks for your service. You might want to start a new thread and introduce yourself since we tend to go off on tangents in threads and miss single posts. Rock on.
