I complained that my back was hurting yesterday so my wife offered to water the garden. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so that covers me for almost a week.

It got up to 93 degrees Fahrenheit here one day last week. We hit that last week. Been in the mid 80s this week. Quite pleasant!

I can certainly understand that. When we went to Alaska in 1990 I thought it would be a great place to live if it wasn't for the long, cold winters.

We went the last two weeks of August and first week of September, and on one of the last days as we were returning from Fairbanks it actually snowed a little. We were able to catch the State Fair while we were there, and the fishing on the Kenai Peninsula was quite good.
