I ordered some grizzly bear ammo for my 45/70 and 10mm. Hopefully they don't cancel it again.

Finally found the mag pouch I have been looking for, and it lists as the same size as the one I have (ya always need a spare don'tchaknow).

M/B, I'm curious as to what brand of grizzly bear ammo you ordered. I have read that Buffalo Bore makes some really potent loads that have even been used on Africa's big game, but it is expensive.

Buffalo Bore or Garrett would have been my preferred brand for the 45/70. But Ammo is slim pickins lately.

I picked up Underwood ammo. 305 grain penetrator slug at 2100 fps. I also use underwood 220 grain hard cast coated bullets for the 10mm. They are running right about 1300FPS from my 7 inch barrell. Not perfect but pretty decent for a semi-auto pistol.

For the 12 guage I keep some Brennecke black magic slugs. They are insane. 602grain slugs at around 1500fps.

I ordered 500 rounds of 32 acp.

I was wanting to add some x39 to the order but it apparently sold out before actually places my order.

I'm wishing I had ordered a case of two of 124 gr. 9mm FMJ like I was supposed to.

And I see now I'm going to really be missing the days when a few places shipped for free and there was no state taxes being added.

I am really disappointed by some of the ammo companies and how they are gouging customers with such price increases.

Its almost always the same companies doing it. Yet people continue to use them even during normal times. I heard a rumor that Federal was shipping direct to customers in states where they can. I haven't verifid that yet though.

Just confirmed it. You can order direct from Federal and wait a few weeks for delivery. Thats not bad at all.

How are their prices?

Tom, I just looked on the Federal site. for a box of 20, the Federal ammo I have, 124gr +p is 27.99 for 20 rounds! Heck, I got 50 rounds of the NPA HELO 115gr ammo for I think 37 bucks for 50.
