Had an interesting conversation with a couple of friends tonight. If your preps aren't up to snuff its a great time to fix that and/or add a little extra. Between Covid, Politics, weird weather, and the current madness in cities its not a bad time to make sure you are squared away.

Great day here weather wise. An interesting trip to the grocery store though. We have been trying to round out our pantry and there is definitely a run on canned goods. 3 different days and multiple stores and I still haven't been able to find simple stuff like canned carrots. LOL, I couldn't find peas or Lima beans until today. I'm pretty sure I'm one of a minority that like peas and Lima beans.

I can’t figure out the shortage problem. Some days everything is in good supply. Sometimes everything but paper goods is in supply. Other days paper goods are well stocked but everything else is out.

It's weird. The shelves weren't picked clean by any means. But even Costco and Sams weren't in stock for basic canned veggies unless you needed corn or green beans. Maybe all the hurricanes have shifted the supply to areas with a bigger need for canned goods.
