I can’t even chop wood too long with my heavy khukuri which weigh about 3-4 pounds. But my 18” and 20” combat khukuris weigh about 16 to 18 ounces and are very easy to wave around. My katanas aren’t heavy but I can’t do the forms anymore.

The American has an 11 1/4 inch bade and the Dundee is 9 1/8. If it is the one you posted somewhere for a comparison I think it is the American.
