3/4 acre ain’t to bad. Plenty of room for a house and garage plus a good sized shop/play room!

Good morning Yard. Another hot one ahead and the humidity is on the rise.

It's going to be on the warm side here also. I really need to get AC in the new place. It's just not normally this hot here. There aren't any heating vents so it's an odd setup for AC and it's not cheap.

MB. When I was there we used a “swamp cooler”. I guess they’re rightly called evaporative air coolers or something. Course the humidity has to stay retry low for them to work well. Military housing at Reese AFB had them as well, course this was back in the late 70’s

I have a couple of portable in-room AC units for the bedrooms. So sleeping isn't an issue and there are some really nice ceiling fans so it's bearable. With as much construction as there is I'll be surprised if we get AC before the fall. Right now we are opening the windows at night and closing everything up before it gets too warm. It's worked ok on a few 97 degree days.

course, the Air Force had AC. The Army did also. It was called, “open the window”.

Nah, we had for real climate controlling refrigerated air. It was nice after a long hard exhausting day of setting in a chair talking on the phone, radio and oh yeah, pilots.
