First of all I want to thank Dan and Patti for a superb product and excellent service. Group Hug. This was a day I will not soon forget. Wife called and said both eagles have landed. And they indeed landed. Contents of package 1 = 3 S6's, one for my dad and 2 for me. You know the drill. ![[Linked Image from i88.photobucket.com]](http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k185/rteagard/DSC00375.jpg) Contents of package 2 = 1 SS4 getting reaquainted with his long list family members. One for me and me only. Sorry dad. ![[Linked Image from i88.photobucket.com]](http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k185/rteagard/DSC00379.jpg) S6 & SS4 ![[Linked Image from i88.photobucket.com]](http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k185/rteagard/DSC00376.jpg) SS4 suspended on cactus. ![[Linked Image from i88.photobucket.com]](http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k185/rteagard/DSC00378.jpg) Wow, these knives feel great in the hand. The S6 fits like a glove and just begs to go beat something. My initial take is that the SS4 feels better in my hand than any other knife I own. I did not think the Bandicoot could be topped for my perfect knife and it has been my all time favorite knife for a few years. I think the SS4 just edged it out. What an awesome specimen. Time to go dance a jig with my new knives and my fruit strapped head gear.

Thanks gents. I also forgot to thank #86 for a fine inspection job. I was partial to #13 before today, but my fruit hat goes off to #86.

Ron, The only way I could possibly be happier for you is if I got a SS-4 today as well!! I sure wish Fathers Day was a bit closer. The suspense and wait is killing me. My dear love has been teasing me non stop about the knife I will get on that fateful day. I keep praying it is my own SS-4 if not, you can bet I'll be shopping hard for one soon after!
Got my YARD HOOK today Ron, what a great feel it has. RAZOR sharp blade is amazing. I am sure it is the sharpest yet. I love the Hook and the length of the blade as well. I didn't know how I'd feel about having it but I love it. Not as huge and heavy as the Dog Father, but not as small and demure as the stout Mutt. It is defiantly a Fighter style blade with the HUGE Busse twist. It is as thick as the rind on a watermelon! Fills the have and moves like lightning. Great score Ron, glad you got those blades, but especially the SS-4. That is THE knife. Peace.
Some people just never learn.

I am sure your wife will hook you up with awesome blade for father's day. That's great news on the Hook, I will have to replenish the fundage and then start the hunt for the Hook and Guard. Some recurves are needed in my meager collection. It feels good now to have more SY material though. It's tough waiting. Definitley post some Hook pics when you get a chance.
