just received my DB-421 today..hefty blade ! now to find a kydex sheath for it. any recommendations ?

Impact, check with Dave Brown of BuyBrown or Al Welke of AZWelke. They both do great kydex work.

Eric and Mashed Cat ARE very good. I'm not sure if he isn't making sheaths for Carothers Performance Knives, better known as CPK.

I second BB kydex. I have quite a few and all are top notch. I also really like a cpl okuden ones too. 2 Very different styles but both great. Dave is deeply rooted and active in this community though and if buying new i would personally feel best supporting him at this time
