As for the hump question above, it's a thumb stop for choking up on the blade using the choil. Once you use it, you begin to understand and appreciate it. Last thing you want when using your hand directly on the blade is for anything to slip grin[/quote]

Thanks. I get thumb ramps but it looked very far forward to me than anything else I have, plus 2 humps. I prefer jimping myself and a flat spine.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love one but I have several large blades to pick from. In my old age and extremely limited funds I am trying to limit myself to item we actually need/would use. After all, I don’t have uncle Tom’s money. wink
