I just discovered the show. I loved the movie. Did not like the TV show.

Caught a monday marathon on SCi-fi of the atlantis version a few weeks ago. I like it a lot! Enough that I bought the first seasomn on DVD friday, to watch when my wife is away for the next 3 days.

I have only seen 4 or 5 episodes so far, but it is entertaining.

Hey Roo my wife and I watch both Atlantis and the Stargate SG1 shows. SG1 only has a few more episodes to go and then it is over. It has been on for 10 years. Atlantis is only a year or so older.

I am about to put atlantis on now. I rreally do like it; I enjoy the comedy that rodney's character sems to bring into the show.
With all the 'heavier' shows I watch such as supernatural and dresden files' it's nice to put something lighter on.
Then again, we also watch Veronica Mars; I guess that qualifies as lighter, as well. Sometimes.

I am glad to hear that Atlantis is a newer show. It seems that everytime I get into a show (like Blade, the series) they cancel it on me 2 weeks later.

I watch it but not religiously like Battlestar. I have been watching a lot of anime downloaded off the net. I watch the sunday cartoons like Simpsons and family Guy. My fave new anime is Le Chevalier D'eon which is about the rein of Louis the 15th and the french revolution. It makes me want a euro smallsword which I think is the best sword for one on one combat ever.

A good crime drama is the wire.

Not familiar with euro smallsword. Like the roman gladius a lot. Recently bought a smaller gladius, cannot remember the proper name at the moment. Pugio?

Battlestar is our overall favorite show. Bastards are not making new ones until next year, right? And, we are still waiting for the new Doctor Who season to show up in the US.

We have the anime channel now. every once in a while we spend a whole day watching the various shows. They usually have 3-4 episodes of maybe 100 seies on, each month.
