A bonus to living where I do. I went up to Yellowstone for the day. Hung out and saw a bunch more Elk than we normally do. Less Tourists than we normally do. A lot more Mule Deer and one WhiteTail which is the first time I have seen them there. Plus a bunch of Buffalo and way more Coyotes than I normally see.
It was a good day to play tourist. I wanted to get in one more visit before the West gate closes for the year.
I would love to visit Yellowstone Park one day, so I am envious of you M/B. However, we have plenty of whitetail deer and coyotes to give us a slightly western feel.

I think everyone should see Yellowstone at least once. It's an amazing place and I haven't gotten tired of it after 25 years.
I was surprised to see the telltale flag of the tail as it ran in front of the car. We have them near our place but they don't do real well here due to the much larger competition. Mule Deer tend to hangout where the whitetails would normally and neither want to be near the Elk of Moose.
