Ah, I see that you pointed out that lower level military commanders can now take action without needing higher level approval for 72 hours. I have looked at some blogs where people have stated that it was against the Constitution to use the military against civilians because of the Posse Comititus Act. If they read the Act, that is not true. I recall that in the 1970’s my unit trained in riot control tactics during the race and anti war riots. At the time I was in the regular Army not the National Guard. I don’t recall any discussion at the time about the Act. The penalty for violating the Act is ludicrous though. A fine and not more than 2 years in prison. Anyhow, thanks for your discussion and back to our regularly scheduled bullying of Skunky.
