We're doing OK Ray. The big game was interesting ; seems like the Chiefs paid too much attention to their press coverage while the Eagles paid attention to winning. I would have liked for the Chiefs to win but the Eagles certainly deserved it.

After a few days of above freezing temps, we are getting another round of single digit temps and snow.


I am reading for spring. I've been cooped up indoors too much lately.

Heat wave here today. Temps in the upper 30’s.

Soooooo, I'm tooling down the road heading to town when all of a sudden I notice a wobble in the front and then the entire wheel goes flying off somewhere out into a field. I was able to maintain control enough to pull off to the side of the road, not wanting to cause any accidents. Fortunately, my neighbor's son, who is with the Fire Department happened along and put on his emergency lights. Eventually a tow truck arrived and took my truck to town, and the General had arrived to pick me up as well. Another "red letter day" for the Klinkster.

I'm glad you're safe Tom. That could have been ugly.

Broken lug nuts, never could find the tire and rim. It was in a downhill spot and dangerous, and I was really glad my neighbor's son happened along and put on his emergency lights as traffic was increasing as time went on. I had my truck towed to a repair shop I have used in the past with good results. I was shocked that the towing bill was $150.00 for roughly 10 miles, but I will get that back from AAA.

Just glad you are safe Tom. THINGS can be replaced, people can’t.
