Just read (after “the media” decided to acknowledge it) that there has been a large rise in shootings by and of juveniles. This week a car stop in one of the larger towns in S.E.MO. Revealed 7 firearms. 4 of them stolen. The car held 4 folks, 2 of them Juvies. And 2 there has been two other shootings involving juvies as well.

Oh, I went ahead and paid the extortion fees in light of all the crap going on around here lately. Even in this area of the state (halfway between St Louis and Memphis), things are escalating.

I’m now carrying Sigrun whenever we leave our little wide spot in the road and especially when we have to go to St. Louis.

And the other night we had a shifty acting “displaced family”, man & woman) hanging around church asking all kinds of questions. They didn’t want anything to eat, just some money to get to a promised job. We offered to fill them up with gas but they said they had plenty and left.

After reading and trying to understand I think that since I will be shooting my AP5 suppressed probably at least 95 percent of the time using 147gr Subs I’m gonna get an 80 degree locking piece. This will help reduce back pressure/blowback and should also reduce the stress on the BCG H buffer making it last longer as well.

Nah, I’ve known I’ve been expendable since 1974. I just don’t want it to happen yet.

Ray will be so proud. I just ordered a bag of Blackout Coffee company 1776 roast whole beans. We will see if they are better than my Dunkin medium roast.

I have not tried them but I heard good reports. If it doesn’t taste better it’s because your old taste buds are shot. But you have to buy a good grinder and only grind fresh beans every day instead of grinding the whole bag at once.

I’ve got a good grinder. A half Yankee gave it to me so I guess there are better ones out there. .
I have gotten to grinding each cup fresh. And I’m using 25-26 grams of coffee to 20 ounces of water. That’s what I’ve been reading as recommended. And I CAN tell a difference in taste.
