OK OK OK. Ray’s been tellin me for years how to make coffee. I THOUGHT I was doin it right. I WAS NOT

Oh I had the water part down, but it appears when I originally started I measured wrong and didn’t realize it.

Apparently I had been using almost 35gr of UNGROUND BEANS , and just dumping it all (after grinding) in and adding my 20oz of water. THAT’S why my coffee tasted kinda acidic (?).
After ordering some “Hopefully” good beans from a small coffee house I did some more research. I NOW, for the last 2 days been using my standard 20oz of water (minimum amount I can make in my French Press) but NOW I’m using 25-25.5 grams of coffee AFTER grinding. It tastes much better. And this is with my normal Dunkin medium roast. I’m looking forward to trying (when it gets here supposedly Wednesday) Blackout Coffee’s 1776 Dark roast.
I’ll probably owe Ray ANOTHER apology dang it.
