I wish I could keep my knives out to view but my rats require that I keep them in the safe.

would they revolt if you didn't? or is it just to keep them safe from small and/or big hands?

I have a 4 year old and a 7 yeard old, just can't take chances. They understand weapons are dangerous and they know the firearms safety rules, but they are just too young still.

Love that Ranger.

Yeah locked cases are key. My kids are more mature than I was as a yoot. I let them shoot the BB gun a while back and they got a kick out of it. I let them hold some of my fixed blades while I watch.
