Hey guys, first post here. I got my first Scrap Yard knife when the DM's hit the block back whenever that was. Unsub turned me on to the upcoming sale, thanks for that.

Anyway, my name is Cam, and I work for the gov't Guarding the Coast in BC. I spend a lot of time on top of mountains and other bushy areas fixing things so people can talk to each other.

Here's some pictures of an awesome sheath I got for my DM. I hope you like them.

Halfway through taking the pictures, I realized I had the screws in backwards, so that's why you see them on one side in some and on the other in others. Yeah, I'm smrt like that. Ok, here's the back, showing the belt loop and all the holes to allow for different carry options.

Here's a look at the front:

Another look at the front:

The only thing I'm planning on changing on it is to open this hole up a little to make it drain a bit better should it get wet, or debris fall in.

Now to the knife itself. As you all know, it's smaller than it looks. Going to make a great user and abuser. To fit my hand, the handle could be a bit bigger, but the nice soft rubber grips well. You can tell this thing's been made to work, and work hard.

The penetrator tip:

You wanna talk about blade thickness? There's no messing around here.

Size in my mitt:

Enjoy!

I have made it a goal to not only clue other Canadians(and everyone else) in about how great Scrapyard knives are but also about this amazing community we have here.

I still have not got my sheath yet but I am praying it will show up with my Mutt
as it was the template for the sheaths tomorow. Eric uses a really neat plastic called concealex that I find much nicer than kydex with a better feel and a bit harder. Eric also sent a free sheath to gravelface who should be getting his this week as well. I sent Eric my Hooker so if anyone wants a sheath they don't have to send the knife. I am looking forward to seeing what he does with integrating the hook and the sheath.

Hi Cam,
And welcome to the Ysrd!

I too have the Mutt for my needs. I love it and I'm sure you will as well.
And talk about a prybar? Yeh it's plenty thick enough to take a bunch of
trouble that would leave other knives broken in pieces.

About that Kydex, great idea for your use to open it a bit for drainage or debris.I don't crawl through brush or streams for a living so i can just tip mine over and tap! Great job! Enjoy the life of that Mutt!!!

Peace.
