thought about doin that with my AR. yeah, me too but then basic black goes with everything and is a very slimming color.

Some look good in green, some don't.
I have seen a FAL with black Tapco furniture, it's not my favorite look.
For some reason the Tapco black hand guard just looks weird. The green looks good and provides nice contrast to the black parkerized gas tube.
The best looking FAL's have wood furniture any way.

I thought that the grip pod would be a good choice for a FAL and I usually hate the trend of bolting junk to your riflr but the grip pod is clever and usefull.

ahh.. so many choices..
now that i've sold almost All my rifles.
i have a strange urge to get a "scout rifle" a la Jeff Cooper.
