Got my first mutt today. I've always had purebreds but this time around I was just looking for a good companion and friend for my GSP. Sorry about the flash effects. All the folks at the shelter knew was some kind of shepherd mix. With her facial markings and coloration I'd say a rottie shepherd mix. Her coat is short and glossy like a rotti instead of long and coarse like a shep. If they hadnt told me she was a shepherd I would have guessed a rottie lab mix.
After seeing how great your mutts are, I figured it was time to get some mixed blood around the house!
She hasn't messed in the house yet... I'm hoping she is a fast learner!

Sputnick - that is a really cute pup, and it should grow to be a terrific pal. I had a Rottweiler/Lab mix, and he was the BEST dog we ever had. A Rottweiler/Shepherd mix should be great as well, considering that they are both smart breeds and nice sized. Anyone have any name suggestions? I'm at a loss. The GSPs name is vash. I've been calling her Leia but I'm not sure it fits. You guys came up with hundreds of names for the new SYK, I bet you can think of something fitting for this girl too.
