Ummm where's the squriell

so besides stropping.. and sandpaper/mousepad.. what other methods of sharpening would keep the convex edge?

That is exactly how my head felt the day after new years, although, I think the stone was bigger and there was someone jumping up and down on it

I ended up not drinking anything on New Years. I was busy posting here and the Swamp, and didn’t notice the time until it was like 11:30. I bought a bottle of Spumonte (sp?) champagne, but didn’t open it. I’ll just save it for some other occasion.
