Just got in from Hot Lanta. 97 F. Air Conditioning out in hotel room, window won't open. Had to get outa there. Credit Card on fire! Scored 4 Yard Keepers, 1 Yard Hook, 2 Scrapper 6s, 1 Ratmandu, 1 Busse Steel Heart 1 special 2007 edition, 1 custom scalping knife, and more. Left camera home, pics by tomorrow. Got to unpack and cool off. Tell Cold One I got his Yard Keeper. His message box is full. Had a big time, but no sleep with a/c out. Rock on.

OK, back. It was hot in the Galleria on Friday. I figured I could cool down in my hotel room...wrong. It still wasn't fixed today, so after I scored a few more blades, I cut out on my 345 mile drive. I really hate Atlanta. Its like every other hell hole city I've seen. Too damned many people for me. Blade show is awesome. Met Gil Hibben, Bill Harsey, Jerry and Dan and many others. Great folks there at the show. Got a discount on a really cool machete from Arlan Lothe. He had seen my Condor knife abuse test on line and liked it.Showed Dan and Jerry some of my 3rd World mods to their steel. Jerry said he could sell that fatty easy. It was a wild frenzy every time Jerry would release a few customs or special editions. Jason was right up front. I just happened to be next to a guy who scored the SH-1 this morning, he was hesitant so I told him I'd love to have it so, I GOT ONE! Jason could not believe my dumb luck. There were still some Yard Keepers there when I left, so you guys should be alright. You just would not believe the Hog feeding frenzy!

Thanks Suzanne. I got lucky, except for the air conditioning. I'm a fat old man, so I wasn't going to sweat all night again tonight. I would have loved to have gone to the dinner tonight, but I was beat. How are you doing? I hope you are getting well.

scalping knife?? huh?? me wanna see!! Its an authentic early American pattern, with stag handle and an upswept blade of about 8.5" with a large S guard. Made by Etowa Forge (in Georgia). It was the makers personal hunting knife. Made of truck spring steel. Bought it off him at lunch! Pictures of all the treasures tomorrow. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
