An oilstone and time would do it! I'm not sure that a custom shop fits the yard ethos- ugly but effective!!

Just clean your blade...no corrosion issues! Yes. Remember, pirates and seamen carried plain ‘ol carbon steel knives, swords, etc. in a saltwater environment and kept them from rusting. You just have to take care of your tools and keep them clean and oiled or waxed.
