I appreciate your impatience, believe me. But I still say that an ounce of prevention (creating enough inventory to begin with) is worth a pound of cure (playing catch up with a bunch of disgruntled customers). Of course, this isn't a democracy. Dan will do what Dan wants to do when Dan wants to do it. But I, for one, don't want to feel pressured to be at the computer when the floodgates open to stand a chance of getting a DF nor do I want to wait 8 weeks to receive my order after I place it. I say we give Dan time to do this right. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> You should all know that I am working every possible hour to have enough inventory, insure performance and keep the price low. Dan we know you are working hard at it. Please be patient with us as we are both your customers and fiercely proud supporters of your knives. I do not think anyone would disagree with me. The fact you make the best at the price you set gives us the feeling you really are doing it for us not just for business. I know I feel I am getting a good deal with your knives. I also know when I have been poked in the eye. I will be patient and try to make some money while you make knives. I was drinking as many beers as my years.. I passed out around 2/3 of the way thru.. When i came to.. the rest of my beer was missing!.. bastid drinking buddies i tell ya.. So the fact that Dan was able to stumble back to grinding.. that's pretty respectable.. ooooh i hope he's got all his fingers still! ..err.. what's a Stoli grind? special edition Vodka knife?
