I agree, I usually buy a knife for what it can do rather then how it looks. Luckily I usually like the looks of these hard use knives.
Keep the quality up and the price down.

A tough dog don't need no fancy collar

I was a little late to the knife party, and missed the Battle Rats by a few months. That was the knife I wanted. I had to wait for the DF to get something equivalent because I refused to buy at marked up secondary market prices. I want a FFBM, but find myself balking at $367+ for something that is marginally better than what I already own.

Just wonder if the Yard will ever have options of the knives? Maybe blade and/or handel coloring. Maybe even different types of handels.
Maybe.

Its been brought up before - and Dan said "not likely" or something to that effect. Some of us were hoping for tan or green handles or blades - but not likely. I know that Dan essentially said "no" to Micarta due to the cost of finishing it.

We can still hope that someday he'll do something different on an LE though!

I would never say never on some options. It all depends on what I can find in the dumpster.

Micarata is still a no due to cost considerations.

To be honest if Dan can't get good stainless he might as well stick with good old sr77 imho for the little 'uns.. I'm glad to hear Dan has no plans to use micarta, my Badger Attack's got micarta and that is all of that stuff I'll ever want! Res-C is better, period! I would like to see the yard move over to grey blades instead of black though, they look less military but could still be used by the military amongst us..

It may sound weird.....but I would like a "HOT PINK" Res-c handle........for my daughter, seriously.

When you care enough to use only the best...stick'em with a SKYCO knife.

The only option I'd REALLY like to see is to be able to order it with the SCRAPYARD LOGO. I really like the logos on my Busse and Swamp Rat's and the SS4(SYKCO logo kicks a..., well you know). I'd pay an extra $10 or so just to get the best logo of the three companies on the knife.

Heck, if I could send my existing knives in for the logo I'd do it.
