To be honest if Dan can't get good stainless he might as well stick with good old sr77 imho for the little 'uns.. I'm glad to hear Dan has no plans to use micarta, my Badger Attack's got micarta and that is all of that stuff I'll ever want! Res-C is better, period! I would like to see the yard move over to grey blades instead of black though, they look less military but could still be used by the military amongst us.. I think SR77 is more of a big blade material though for chopping stuff. SR101 would hold an edge better which is why I think it would be ideal for a small blade ! Just MHO !!!!

As to the extra cost, Busse doesn't charge for a plain color change. When you get into the camo and stuff like that it's extra. I would just like to see it an option for the tan and od handels and blades.

The only option I'd REALLY like to see is to be able to order it with the SCRAPYARD LOGO. I really like the logos on my Busse and Swamp Rat's and the SS4(SYKCO logo kicks a..., well you know). I'd pay an extra $10 or so just to get the best logo of the three companies on the knife. I have to say I agree on this... I love the logo as well. -Tdog

i would like some steel options like sr101 or ats 34. i read in a post once that scrap yard knives would vary like that but it hasn't really. that's alright though because they have made alot of nice blades.

I guess I could always Duracoat my knife. I wonder if that would hurt the other coating that is already on it?

Scrappy I asked Dan about ATS34 a while ago in a thread but he couldn't find any.. There may be some D2 about which would be great for a little slicer knife.. I live in hope of a yard 'Assault shaker' or Fehrman thru-hiker style blade.

I hope he can't find any. ATS-34 is just too hard to sharpen in the field.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
