Stripped and blasted Assault Shaker
1st gen Rat Shaker
Skeleton Warden
Police Recruit (A2 steel version)
Skeleton Key (blasted)
Desert Tan Assault Shaker (short run fatty with penetrator tip)

I'll take at least one of each, any which way!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Although I like the Skelly Warden and Shaker the best!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

A SYKCO necker (with Logo so I can show it off) is high on my list of wants!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

A yard corrosion resistant (as 'stainless' is nearly a swear word in the Busse family world!) necker would be great, but lets have a good guard between the grip and the edge! (Fehrman Thru hiker style?) That Fehrman cpm3v does look tempting..

Coldone I'd agree Dan doesn't release untested knives.. A necker needs to be stainless-ish so sr77 is pretty much out. Let's hope that as ATS34 isn't in the dumpster presently, some D2 is!
D2 is a little easier to sharpen than ATS-34. Back before I got the belt grinder, I used to sharpen knives for my friends on a German fine grit stone. I swear, it took me all day to sharpen a Buck Odyssey in ATS-34. I saw that officer recently and told him to drop by and have a beer while I demonstrated my new technology on his Buck. D2 isn't stainless, but with a little Tuff Cloth care, it would make a great neck knife. ATS-34 would work, too, but its a b****
to sharpen.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I am not much on neck knives, but if I was, I would probably lean towards the design of the Rat Shaker. The overall design of the Police Recruit doesn't do anything for me and it is way to chunky.

I always thought ATS-34 was easier to sharpen than D2 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

i don't think a product like that necessarily belongs on the scrap yard agenda. course i'd like a scrapper skeleton key but for the yard's emphasis on function and performance, a tiny knife just has to be decent steel with a thin edge and folders can do that while being more compact.

that said, if dan gave us a fixed version of leaf blades like the dragonfly/navigator, i sure wouldn't let you guys have em all.

A friend at work had an assault shaker and it seemed too heavy to me to carry around on my neck all day. But I can barely stand a tie for 8 hrs either.

I much prefer a nice clip on.

D2 is almost stainless as it is right on the line between stainless and not stainless. Also some of the alloys in better tool and stainless steels help keep
the steel from rusting. I think it is those alloys that make infi so stain resistant.
